Marriott hotel workers demand Coca-Cola Amatil reinstates dismissed union leaders in Indonesia

The Marriott workers from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America gathered in Geneva to demand action to stop sexual harassment. Marriott workers also called on Coca-Cola Amatil to stop attacking and undermining independent, democratic unions at Coca-Cola Indonesia.

Marriott hotel workers joined the IUF's International Zero Rights campaign to call on Coca-Cola Amatil to reinstate the terminated independent union leaders Atra and Lutfi and to recognize the Coca-Cola Indonesia Workers Council. This newly formed Council brings together four independent unions to challenge the company's collusion with SPSI, the national union structure originating in the New Order military dictatorship (1967-1998).
