Uruguay: STCC begins mass mobilisation at Coca-Cola

Workers at Coca-Cola in Uruguay have started to mobilise against neglect of their union, STCC, by the company, and the bad faith the company has shown during collective bargaining. In a mass assembly during a strike October 15, attended by some 400 workers, it was decided to enter into preconflict mode and hold a series of mass rallies.

Coca-Cola Nicaragua: New Collective Agreement

SUT - INARSA, the trade union at Coca-cola FEMSA in Nicaragua, has achieved important economic progress and employment stability, signing a new CBA with the company.The agreement contains also important regulations on trade union recognition and dispute resolutions through a bipartite commission.

The agreement was signed after two weeks of intense negotiations.

Sri Lanka: CMU signs CBA at Coca-Cola

IUF affiliate Ceylon Mercantile Industrial and General Workers’ Union (CMU) at the beginning of the year has signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd.

The agreement focuses on the maintenance of fair labour practices. 

It was signed for a two year period effective from January, 2010 – December 31, 2011.
