Video - Coca-Cola Norway Shop Steward: "We are strong when we stand united"

Tony Farman is shop steward of NNN, the Norwegian Food workers union, representing workers at the Coca Cola Oslo plant in Norway. He is one of many workers of Pakistani origin at the plant. In this interview by IUF Pakistan, he describes why joining the union is necessary for workers, and in particular for migrant workers. (Urdu with English Subtitles)

Staff dan Serikat Buruh di Perusahaan Minuman Ringan Coca Cola Pakistan (CCBPL), Karachi menyerahkan sebuah piagam tuntutan kepada pihak manajemen pada 2 Januari, 2009.

Di antara tuntutan-tuntutan lainnya, ini meliputi empat poin berikut yang mencerminkan dan menyebutkan posisi piagam tuntutan Global melawan sistem kerja lepas, sesuai dengan situasi di pabrik Karachi:

The Staff and Workers Union at Coca Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCBPL), Karachi submitted a charter of demands to management on  January, 2, 2009.

Among other demands, it includes the following four points which reflect and specify positions of the Global charter of demands against casualisation, as appropriate for the situation at the Karachi plant:
