Ukraine: IUF Coordination Council in solidarity with #TasteZeroRights international campaign


On June 21, 2019, members of the IUF Coordination Council in Ukraine showed their solidarity with the #TasteZeroRights international campaign which targets TCCC's failure to remedy the ongoing rights violations in its system.

CCEP management denies employees' right to be heard at European level!

After almost three years of negotiations Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) management left the negotiating table when the employee representatives refused to sign an unacceptable proposal.

Since the creation of CCEP in 2016, trade unions have denounced continued attacks on jobs and incessant requests for enhanced labor flexibility.  

AB InBev EWC members call on Coca-Cola Amatil to end violation of rights in Indonesia


AB InBev European Works Council(EWC) members who are representatives of IUF affiliates in Germany, Luxemburg, the UK, Belgium, Spain, France and the Netherlands invited an IUF Secretariat representative to present the IUF's brewery division work and successes in organizing transnational company.

In addition to the brewery sector work, rights violations taking place at Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia operations were presented. AB InBev EWC members showed solidarity with the ongoing struggle in Indonesia to secure rights of independent  unions to organize and bargain. IUF affiliates present in the meeting asked Coca-Cola Amatil management to respect the bargaining rights of independent unions and restore the rights of victimized independent union leaders.

Germany: Coca-Cola Central Works Council shows solidarity with independent unions at Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia

Central Works Council at Coca-Cola European Partners Germany met at the end of September and discussed the situation of Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia workers who have been fighting against zero rights. Council members support the victimized union leaders Atra Narwanto and Lutfi Ariyanto and the fundamental human right of workers to form and join independent trade unions.

Bolivia: Working towards building a national Coca Cola workers union

Roberto Vicente Baigorra Chávez, Secretary General of the Bolivian Embol Bottling Factory Workers Union in Santa Cruz, participated in the extraordinary meeting of FELATRAC (Latin American Federation of Coca Cola workers) organized in Buenos Aires. The constitution of an umbrella organization of unions organized in the Bolivian subsidiary of the transnational was the focus of this short interview.

Coca-Cola union in Bolivia joins the IUF

Bolivian bottling Unidas SA (Embol), which owns the franchise of Coca Cola in Bolivia, has four plants in the districts of La Paz, Cochabamba, Tarija and Santa Cruz. During the 5th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the IUF Latin American Federation of Coca Cola (FELATRAC), which took place in Santo Domingo, the Union of Santa Cruz Embol officially decided to join the IUF and FELATRAC.
