Brazil: Coca-Cola/Femsa Workers approve new agreement

At a meeting between the Sindicato da Alimentação de Limeira/SP (Food Workers' Union) and Coca-Cola/Femsa workers, Cosmópolis/SP unit, the signature of the 2014/2015 collective bargaining agreement was approved.

The proposal was conquered following the mobilization of workers, as a demonstration of how important organization and participation are to ensure progress.

A 7.44% pay adjustment was approved for April salaries this year, while the pay adjustment date for the sector is in May; a wage floor of R$ 1.276, being R$ 1.206 the fixed  salary and a variable part for R$ 70; an additional 80% for overtime; Participation in Profits and Results program; R$ 200 food card per month; Food voucher for R$ 20 for day worked; aid for school materials for up to R$111 and maintenance of the previous Collective Agreement clauses;

The Trade Union appreciates the confidence placed by all workers in the entity.
