Coca-Cola workers in Haiti in support of Coca-Cola workers in Indonesia

Coca-Cola workers employed at La Couronne brewery in Haiti showed their solidarity with the dismissed elected union leaders of independent unions at Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia. Coca-Cola workers in Haiti have been struggling to exercise trade union rights since they established their workplace union SYTBRACOUR in March 2017. Local management has stated in meetings with workers that they will act to destroy this fledgling union sooner or later.

The bottler refuses to recognize SYTBRACOUR and refuses any serious dialogue to resolve any ongoing issues around rights violations and poor working conditions.
