Another new union organized in Coca-Cola Pakistan, this time in Faislabad

Comprehensive Agreement Ends Long, Bitter Conflict at Coca-Cola Pakistan
27-07-2010An agreement negotiated between the IUF, the Atlanta, USA-based The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI, Coca-Cola's Turkey-based bottler for the Middle East, Pakistan and Central Asia), has successfully resolved a long and bitter conflict over employment and trade union rights at Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan (CCBPL). CCBPL is jointly owned by TCCC and CCI.
Sri Lanka: CMU signs CBA at Coca-Cola
08-05-2010IUF affiliate Ceylon Mercantile Industrial and General Workers’ Union (CMU) at the beginning of the year has signed a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd.
The agreement focuses on the maintenance of fair labour practices.
It was signed for a two year period effective from January, 2010 – December 31, 2011.
New union organized at Coca-Cola Gujranwala bottling plant in Pakistan

Karachi union incorporates "Charter of demands" into negotations
22-01-2009The Staff and Workers Union at Coca Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCBPL), Karachi submitted a charter of demands to management on January, 2, 2009.
Among other demands, it includes the following four points which reflect and specify positions of the Global charter of demands against casualisation, as appropriate for the situation at the Karachi plant:
