Solidarity across borders: dairy industry workers in India demand Stop Nespressure!
On March 11, 2012, unions from eight major dairy producing states across India attending the national Dairy Employees Federation of India (DEFOI) conference held a protest action against union-busting and mass termination at Nestle Panjang, Indonesia, and the brutal treatment of contract workers at Nestle Kabirwala in Pakistan, Nestle's largest milk collection plant in the world. The unions pledged to continue "STOP Nespressure" protest actions in their states.
