The German trade union NGG on March,8 has published a letter to all Nestle workers, containing a congratulation to Nestle women workers with the International Women's Day, and also a description of an attempt by management at the Neuss "Thomy" factory to blackmail the union in favour of longer working hours.
The letter is available in German, English, French, Spanish, Swedish, and Russian from the IUF's women workers site at IUF's Women Workers Network
Sometimes approaching Nestlé successfully at the regional level is described as a "step-by-step" approach. Nothing inherently wrong with this but I wanted to share a cautionary note about such a strategy.
