Breaking the myth: We are not alone!

12.01.10 blog

Pepsico is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world with operations in about 200 countries.

Yet so far,Pepsico workers, when organizing into unions, mainly stay isolated within their countries, and sometimes are confronted with one of the most common anti-union myths – that they are the only ones so audacious as to join into a union in Pepsico. But we know that there are tens of thousands of Pepsico workers organised into trade union already.

In a global company, we should be globally united as workers, as well!

Let’s break the myth - let’s get to know each other, unite our forces and build a strong international Pepsico Workers network from Workers organizing in plants and locations producing, selling, distributing Pepsi, FritoLay, Walker's, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, 7up, Tropicana, Aquafina, Quaker, and all the other Pepsico brands all over the world!

  • Let others know about you! Send us a short story and a picture about your union in Pepsico until Feb15, 2010! Your story could answer questions such as
