Printer-friendly version

Over twenty trade union leaders and members are now in prison as the government of Korea and powerful conglomerates escalate their attack on basic rights. Following the earlier arrests and harsh sentencing of union leaders in July, the government has now taken brutal action to break strikes by railway and road transport workers and criminalize their activity. The International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC) has launched an online petition on LabourStart calling on the government to free all jailed union leaders - CLICK HERE TO SIGN THE PETITION!
