About 1,000 workers in Italy now have a new collective bargaining agreement with Mondelez following lengthy negotiations between Italian IUF affiliates and the company. FLAI-CGIL reports the new agreement unifies 3 formerly individual agreements covering separate workplaces into 1 collective agreement thereby giving the unions greater power. The unions also achieved positive gains on family leave including paternity leave for new fathers.
