PepsiCo Poland - latest news
The supervisor accused of sexual harassment has been arrested, but no change in the situation of the dismissed women.
The chair of the NSZZ Solidarnosc Women's Committtee, Danuta Wodjat, expresses her warm thanks to all of you - globals unions, confederations, unions, individual members, women's committees and organisations, individual persons from all over the world who have sent protest messages and faxes to PepsiCo and the Polish government.
However, while the legal investigation in the sexual harassment case is still continuing, and the first findings of the labour inspectorate is also revealing violations of health & safety provisions, recording and payment of working hours, etc, the management is pursuing its harsh anti-union attacks.
And the women who filed the complaint against the supervisor for sexual harassment have still not been reintegrated in their jobs.
Therefore, they and their union still need your support. For background and campaign details, please see the article "Protest sexual harassment of Employees at PepsiCo Poland".
