IUF-affiliated Filcams Cgil, Fisascat Cisl and Uiltucs have renewed the CBA for nine Marriott hotels in Italy, involving some 3.000 workers. Key points for the new agreement are the company’s commitment not to outsource activities for the duration of the agreement and a commitment to negotiate a protocol on measures to combat sexual harassment in the workplace.

Cristian Sesena from Filcams Cgil highlights that “This agreement is extremely important not only for the content but also because Marriott is explicitly mentioned so to prove that it’s possible to come to an agreement with the largest hotel chain”.
