Young workers are impacted disproportionately by precarious work, low wages and wage stagnation, as well as being denied access to education and job training.  Those seeking to exercise their rights face discrimination in an increasingly hostile environment.

August 12 was International Youth Day, and this year IUF Young Workers pledged to organise and fight back together for their right to be heard and to defend their right to join a union. From rejecting wars, surveillance and state violence, to defending the right to decent work and a dignified life and promoting access to education and healthcare; young workers are leading the fight for democracy in our workplaces and societies.

Some photos of the actions across the IUF regions are shown below and many more are available here.
