After a long and difficult struggle for basic rights – fought together with the entire IUF – the Nestlé Panjang Workers Union has now successfully negotiated a new CBA.

For the first time, union members now have a fully-negotiated wage scale and wage structure with an improved progression rate and seniority adjustments, bringing an effective end to merit-based increments.

In his congratulatory message, IUF General Secretary Ron Oswald said, “A collective agreement that secures the right to negotiate and improve wage scales is something you and your members should be very proud of. It also stands as an inspiration for all members of the IUF.”
