Workers of Liberty Coca-Cola and Pepsi Bottling Company who are represented by the IUF-affiliated Teamsters Local 830 in Philadelphia, have ratified a new agreement. A majority of the workers voted to accept the contract, which will last for five years.

“Local 830 stood strong in the negotiations to protect the members at both Liberty Coca Cola and Pepsi Bottling Company despite the company’s declining revenue due to the declining beverage sales in the city of Philadelphia due to the sugar sweeten beverage tax,” said Danny Grace, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 830. “The members ratified both agreements by a 3 to 1 margin.”
