On 2 August an agreement on job security was reached converting the outsourced positions at the in-house contractor SeoHee Industrial to direct permanent employment at Baskin Robbins Korea. This brought an end to the 86 day strike against precarious employment at Baskin Robbins ice cream factory in Eumsung.

The agreement also includes provisions to end discrimination in wages between directly employed and outsourced workers, prior consultation with the union before any reduction in the workforce, and the withdrawal of all legal action. The company also withdrew all disciplinary action against the striking workers.

The union expressed its thanks to all its supporters and said that its members would be back to work on 9 August.
