The IUF brochure on bargaining demands for LGBTI workers’ rights intends to assist affiliates effectively include lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) workers’ rights in collective bargaining in order to end discrimination and ensure security and the full respect of the rights of LGBTI members.

The brochure has been developed in consultation with the IUF’s LGBTI Workers and Allies’ Steering Group. We encourage our affiliates to secure the clauses proposed as key negotiated issues in collective bargaining agreements and to create environments where LGBTI members feel comfortable bringing reports of discrimination to union leaders and representatives.
