The Philippines national center SENTRO mobilized hundreds of members on June 19 to picket distribution outlets belonging to Citra Mina, the seafood giant which terminated 78 workers last year to prevent them from forming a union. Actions took place in 6 cities, with SENTRO members waving placards demanding "Justice for the Citra Mina 78" and distributing flyers demanding the company recognize the union and reinstate the workers with full back wages.

IUF and the ITF (International Transport Workers' Federation) are together campaigning to roll back union-busting at the Philippines' second-largest seafood exporter and secure union recognition and reinstatement of the sacked workers.
